For each of the members of this collection, the octopus has been tightly and intricately painted in a gouache paint on top of an inky background flacked with gold watermarks. Many techniques have been used in the process of painting this these little pieces, including marbling, with gold, inks, watercolour, salt, and the delicate painting of gouache.
Printed on 290gsm archival paper using a printing process involving fade-resistant pigment based inks that are colourfast for 150+ years. There are only 50 of these prints in the world, and each one is signed and numbered. This print comes with torn edges at A5 portrait (14.5x21cm).
